I would just like to thank everyone who has tuned in over the past episodes of BOOM. The show has really taken off and it’s because of the listeners every week that make the show worthwhile.
To celebrate, I was fortunate enough to snag 3 amazing artists who have put together 3 great hours of guest-mixes. Alongside with myself, Adam Sheridan, Will B, and Giuseppe Ottaviani will provide a 4 hour extended set (with a few suprises along the way) that you defintely don’t want to miss.
As always, the set will be updated during the broadcast. Enjoy, and we’ll see you around for the next 50.

Fresh to the promo in-box is the second (and much anticipated) release from Active Recordings. Fantastic Hungarian producer Ferenc Barta, who’s production alias is Francis Blaid brings us “Mystery”, a melodic but powerful progressive trance tune.

The tracks starts with a very in-your-face kick, but shows it’s true colours with a beautiful melody and churning bass-line. The mid-track cutting also add’s that “life feel” to the way the track flows. Perfect for any set, but spectacular for a summer style setting.
Along with the original, we are treated with two lovely remixes as well. Though they are definitely not in the same style, both moving more towards a progressive feel, they add very well to the release and compliment the original very well. The first remix is by Allende and features more percussion and a lighter feel overall. The second is by Real & Myst and they turn the original into a break-beat minimal track. Both still have that infectious melody down very well, but it’s the original mix that really stands out in this release.

Already supported on Markus Schulz’s Ibiza ‘06 compilation album, we can only expect great things from Active Recordings in the future. Look for an exclusive 2 week pre-release of “
Mystery” on
AudioJelly February 9th!
Yet another great episode coming your way. Digitalchild will be laying down some nice house tunes to get you in the mood, followed by myself with a selection of new trance (and some recent favourites).
Our guest for this week is Perth DJ Kim Gadecki. He has previously present Complex Synth Problems on Party107 but decided to give it a rest while he went into the studio to work on his productions. He has a style that is hard to define, but very much worth checking out.
