VIP Club Dance

By now most people are aware Tiesto has released his new album ‘Elements of Life’ and there is a good chance you have heard the first single ‘In The Dark’. In case you haven’t it’s unashamedly Tiesto: simple beats, big vocals, bigger synths. Christian Burns does an excellent job on the vocals creating a very distinctive emotive sound.

The original version and the Tiesto Trance Mix are a little simple for my taste but the Carl B remix adds the depth that is missing. It also builds and flows in a way I think would work better in a set. If you like your electro house than the Dirty South remix is for you. This Australian has been getting a lot of press since the Miami Winter Music conference and with this track you can see why. You can tell he has put a lot of effort into the remix, using the all the elements from the original and adding a few of his own. I can see this getting a fair amount of airplay.
